Arrest made after tried kidnapping of three-year-old boy in Wolverhampton

A person has been arrested over the tried kidnap of a three-year-old woman in Wolverhampton.

West Midlands Police acquired reviews {that a} man tried to abduct a lady exterior a home on Leicester Street at round 17:15 GMT on Thursday.

The baby's mom stopped him and it’s understood he then drove off in the direction of Harrow Street.

A 37-year-old man was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of trying to kidnap the woman and was detained for questioning, police stated.

The power stated it believed this was an remoted incident and the kid was not injured.

Det Inspector Nicola Pestel stated: “Officers from our local teams have been working hard on this investigation.
