Bacup: Two killers arrested after a person died on the highway

Two individuals have been detained on suspicion of homicide after a person died in a Lancashire city.

Police stated they have been on patrol in Newchurch Road, Bacup, at about 00:35 GMT once they noticed paramedics attempting to revive him.

However, the 30-year-old sufferer died on the scene.

A 26-year-old man and a 27-year-old lady from the city have been arrested on suspicion of homicide and stay in custody.
