BBC correspondent confirmed Ballimena violent protests

The protesters on Tuesday threw petrol bombs, bricks and fireworks into the police throughout one other evening of the dysfunction in Ballimana, Northern Ireland.

The police fired the baton spherical and used a water cannon to disperse the protesters as automobiles have been set on fireplace and broke the home windows of a number of homes.

The dysfunction started on Monday after a peaceable protest on an alleged sexual assault at County Entrim Town.

BBC Ireland correspondent Chris Page visited the scene.
