Ira is investigating a statue of Bobby Sands, after the Belfast City Council Scheme is constructed with out the permission.
The statue of the previous MP was unveiled on Sunday at an Irish Republican Memorial Garden within the Twinbrook area of West Belfast.
The first minister Mitchell O'Neel and different elected representatives of Sin Fen had been amongst those that participated that day.
The council stated that planning approval is “generally required for external public artifacts including sculptures and sculptures being installed on a long -term or permanent basis”.
A spokesman stated in an announcement, “As the council has not received a planning application for this statue till date, it is investigating the matter and cannot comment further at this time.”
In an announcement, a spokesperson of a Sin Fan stated: “This is a case for the organizing committee.”
Mr. Sands died on the age of 27 1981 Hunger strikeIn which 10 Republican paramilitary prisoners killed themselves.

O'Neill, vice chairman of Sin Fen, described it as a “powerful tribute” on Sunday.
“Bobby's life and sacrifice inspires the people here in Ireland and the worldwide freedom and justice,” he stated on X, on Twitter within the east.

The Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) criticized the presence of the primary minister.
Party deputy chief Mitchell McLeren stated that Mr. Sands “was not a freedom fighter”, however “a member of a cruel terrorist organization”.
“To honor his heritage, reopen the lesions of the past,” he advised the Northern Ireland Assembly on Monday.
“The presence of the first minister in Twinbrook on Sunday was a unique decision to reopen that injury.”
Bobby Sands Trust Secretary Danny Morrison stated that it was “not involved in the initiative”.
He stated in an announcement, “We suspect that if someone objected to the statue locally,” he stated in an announcement.

Mr. Morrison stated that “there are many monuments for Bobby worldwide, the roads are named after him, books have been written and films about them have been made”.
He stated, “The idol represents nationalists and Republicans, which proudly honors prisoners and their families.”
According to its web site, the Belfast City Council “under the circumstances” can examine violations of planning controls “where” constructing work that requires planning permission is finished with out approval “.
In a statement, a council spokesperson said: “Generally outside public artifacts require a plan permission, together with sculptures and sculptures which are being put in on an extended -term or everlasting foundation.
“As the council has not received a planning application for this statue till date, it is investigating the matter and cannot comment further at this time.”
