East-Glassgo Council chief Frank McAvity accused fraudulent crimes

Former Glasgow City Council chief and former-Labor MSP Frank McAwti has been arrested on dishonest crimes.

Police Scotland confirmed that the allegations had been associated to incidents in Glasgow between 2022 and 2024.

The Scottish Labor and Glasgow City Council have been approached for remark.

Mr. McAaventi was a council chief from 1997 to 1999 when he was elected to the Scottish Parliament.

In 2011, he captured a number of ministerial positions earlier than dropping the Glasgow Shettleston seat for SNP.

Mr. McAvity was elected to the Council in 2012, then re -elected as a council chief in 2015.

He was profitable in 2017 by SNP's Susan Atcon.
