A flamingo “on the run” after escaping from a wildlife sanctuary in Cornwall.

Staff at Paradise Park in Hayle, Cornwall, mentioned the younger flamingo, named Frankie, had flown over the park's fence on Sunday morning, regardless of having his wings clipped.

He mentioned the chicken was seen within the park at 8:00 am GMT, then close to Porthtowan at round 10:15 GMT.

In a publish on social media, the park mentioned employees had been “searching the area” and welcomed stories of any sightings.

The park mentioned individuals can get in contact to report sightings of the chicken by calling, emailing or sending a message on Facebook.
