BBCFolk musician and former BBC Scotland presenter Archie Fisher has died aged 86.
Singer, songwriter and guitarist who offered BBC Radio Scotland's Traveling Folk from 1983 to 2010.
Born right into a singing household in Glasgow, he launched a number of albums over time and was one of many earliest steel-string gamers of British folks music.
In 2006, he was awarded an MBE within the New Year Honors for providers to conventional Scottish music.

“Songs like 'Men of Worth' – his powerful tribute to Scots fishing – have become part of the contemporary folk repertoire, testament to his natural writing style.
“The concert celebrating their 80th anniversary at Celtic Connections a few years ago was one of the highlights of the festival over the years, with artists from all over the world wanting to see a show on the night.
“As anybody within the music world at present will inform you, he was stuffed with wit, kindness and information. He shall be vastly missed.”
Fisher, who died on Saturday, moved to Edinburgh in 1960 and lived within the south of Scotland in his ultimate years.
