The governing FIA mentioned the Haas Formula One staff has lodged a protest towards Nico Hulkenberg’s seventh-place end at Sunday’s Australian Grand Prix.

The Haas driver ran seventh on the grid for the second restart, for a two-lap dash to resolve the winner however he moved as much as fourth as vehicles crashed on the primary lap.

The accidents triggered the third and remaining pink flag.

After lengthy deliberation, the stewards determined that when the race restarted the grid place would finish with one lap behind the protection automotive, which had crashed.

This meant Hulkenberg completed seventh in accordance with the race’s provisional classification.
