Nearly 100 firefighters are tackling a large blaze at a takeaway in north London.

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) stated on Thursday that half of the bottom ground of the constructing on Seven Sisters Road in Holloway had burnt down.

The LFB stated a part of two flats on the primary and second flooring have been burnt down, however the reason for the hearth was unknown.

Speaking on the scene, Station Commander Mike Watts stated roads have been closed and folks have been urged to keep away from the realm resulting from smoke and site visitors congestion.

“The fire is causing significant smoke in the surrounding area and local residents are advised to keep their windows and doors closed while we work to contain the fire,” he stated.
