In a press release, Ministry of Railways stated, ”In the month of September 2020 until 6 September 2020 Indian Railways loading was 19.19 million tonnes which is 10.41% (1.81 million tonnes) greater in comparison with final yr’s loading for a similar interval (17.38 million tonnes). In this era Indian Railways earned Rs. 1836.15 crores from freight loading which can also be Rs. 129.68 crores greater examine to final yr’s earnings for a similar interval (Rs. 1706.47 crores).”
