The Joy 25 exhibition at the Ballimani Museum was also opened on Saturday.
It hosts a collection of artifacts, such as dunlop and a collection of original motorcycles, rare photos, racing leather, trophy and individual items that mark Joy's remarkable career.

Honored as “King of Roads”, Sportsman won 26 Isle of Man TT Jeet, Five Formula One World Championship, 13 North West 200 (NW200) win and 24 UlSter Grand Prix.
He was awarded MBE in 1986 and an OBE for his humanistic work with children in Eastern Europe in 1996.
