
A convicted killer was jailed for 10 and a half years after an order for a gun assault on the jail guard.
Robert Patterson, 45, was serving life in HMP Edinburgh, when he claimed to have a coronary heart assault after swallowing cocaine baggage.
The guard suspected an try to flee and delayed him from going to the hospital in November 2022, which Patterson believed that his life was in danger.

Patterson was recorded while discussing the plan to attack the jail officer.
Mr. Cameron said: “Fortunately, the police intervened and in reality no try was made to assault the officer which was fully unknown.”
Patterson HMP was on a lifetime sentence in HMP Edinburgh after taking pictures an individual on a street in Kambarnould in 2008.
