
Residents of a North Yorkshire village had been shaken by earthquake in a single day.
Litton had a 2.5-detection earthquake after 01:30 BST at Yorkshire Dells.
According to the British Geological Survey (BGS), within the south-west of the village, there was a depth of 4 km (2.5 mi).
The last earthquake recorded at North Yorkshire was at Kils on 18 March, which was two.
On Tuesday, the BGS recorded a 1.2-delest earthquake in Cardiff.
Earthquakes beneath 2.5 can typically be lifted with monitoring gear, however the Dells incident was reportedly felt by many individuals within the village and surrounding space.
