Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday mentioned gymnasiums and health centres within the state can be allowed to reopen from Dussehra, which falls on October 25. During a digital assembly with representatives of gyms and health centres, the chief minister mentioned group actions like zumba and yoga and steam and sauna services is not going to be allowed.
“Gymnasiums and fitness centres are for the welfare of citizens, so care should be taken to ensure that there is no virus spread. The SoPs should be strictly followed,” he mentioned. Thackeray mentioned the state authorities was going sluggish on lifting COVID-19 restrictions as a result of there must be no complacency.
Safety measures corresponding to disinfecting premises at hourly interval, bodily distancing, sanitisation and use of masks can be obligatory, the chief minister mentioned, including that well being checks of trainers and workers must be achieved often.
