A 25-year-old man has refused to assist former soldier Daniel Khalife after he escaped from Wandsworth Prison in September 2023.
Imran Chaudhry, of Chingford, north-east London, pleaded not responsible at Westminster Magistrates' Court to a cost of helping an escaped prisoner.

Prosecutors allege that after Khalif's escape on 6 September 2023, he telephoned an unidentified man who was nonetheless in jail, and the prisoner contacted Imran Chaudhry and requested him to satisfy Khalif in Richmond, south-west London. Said for, and provides him the cash.
The prosecution's case is that Mr Choudhury accompanied Khalif to a cashpoint and withdrew £400 which he had given to the escaped prisoner.
