Director Matt Reeves is happy and ‘terrified’ about his Robert Pattinson-starrer The Batman film. In a latest interview to Esquire, the filmmaker spoke about what drew him to creating the film with a unique approach, and his influences behind the characteristic.
Smitten with the 1987 comedian Batman: Year One, Reeves of the Planet of the Apes motion pictures fame, determined to do one other model of the Caped Crusader, one which was darker, grittier and had a detective noir component to it.
