Max Verstappen was topped Australian Grand Prix winner on Sunday after two late crimson flags and a lot of crashes plunged the race into chaos earlier than permitting the Dutchman to march victory round Albert Park.
Verstappen was main Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton when Kevin Magnussen crashed his Haas right into a wall, sending particles onto the observe and stopping the race.
In a chaotic restart, Williams driver Logan Sargent rode into the again of Nyck de Vries of AlphaTauri and despatched each of them into the gravel at flip two.
Alpine drivers Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon then crashed into one another leaving a path of particles on the observe and triggering the third and final crimson flag for the race.
