"Prices of milk, eggs and bread may freeze" reads the headline on the front page of the Times.

The Times says “prices of milk, eggs and bread could be frozen”, writing that it’s a part of Chancellor Rachel Reeves' new measures “to help with the cost of living, including scrapping plans to increase fuel duty by 5p from Settember”. The grocery worth cap additionally comes after the SNP introduced related plans in Scotland, “which will cap the price of 50 essential items including bread, milk and cheese”.
