'Given is going nowhere,' says DUP.

The Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) and the Traditional Unionist Voice (TUV) party have said they plan to join Given's Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) in voting against it.

He said that many teachers who contacted him struggled to “trust someone who is so freely supporting a system that has destroyed the education system and educational opportunity for a generation of Palestinian children”.

He said, “There is no censure motion, for example, on Steve Aiken or Ron McDowell for going to Israel and campaigning, that's because they indicated it was some kind of trip in their capacity as education ministers.”

“So I think it is entirely appropriate to allow MLAs to use parliamentary time to hold them to account and reflect on very deep concerns.”

Analysis: Destined to fail however should still endure losses

Proposing and supporting a movement of no confidence in a Stormont minister is a big step ahead, even whether it is destined to fail.

Unlike most different authorities establishments, ministers don’t want the help of a majority of the members of the Northern Ireland Assembly to carry workplace.

He simply wants his occasion to face with him.

But such motions of confidence are doubtlessly damaging to relationships and will hinder progress on the government desk at a time when so many huge selections should be made.

As we method the following meeting elections, don't be shocked to see extra tussle for ministerial posts within the coming months.

Because, the truth is, they play properly with the respective political bases.
