Music composer Pete Doharti has began his non-League soccer as he led Margate FC as captain in a pleasant.

The singer and guitarist who sponsors the Margate FC for Libertin on Saturday signed to the membership to take part in his match in opposition to Tonbridge Angels.

Owen mentioned: “I am not sure we saw the best performance of his football skills, I am not sure that he had long enough for the show what he was on that side, but obviously he was a player in his short days.

“But this was an effective way to kick our pre-season, one thing completely different for our supporters, slightly enjoyable for our first sport and it appeared to be rather well down.”

Libertin, who became the main shirt sponsor for the club in 2018, also has a hotel in the region.

Owen mentioned: “The response to our social folks, the response to the social folks of Libertins, speaking to the folks on the bottom, in line with the report of our media crew, it’s truly actually obtained positively throughout the board.”

Asked whether the Dosti Isthamian League can play again for the South East Division-Club, Mr. Owen said: “Never say. We will see.”
