Pune: Six arrested for ‘homicide’ of 17-year-old boy

Six individuals have been arrested for allegedly killing a 17-year-old boy in Parvati Pytha space on Sunday evening. Police investigation has revealed that the juvenile was murdered in violation of the regulation to avenge the dying of a person whom he had allegedly killed in April.

An FIR has been lodged by Dadasaheb Bansode (23), an acquaintance of the deceased teenager within the boy’s homicide, who was with him when he was attacked by the attackers.

A Dattawadi police station official stated {the teenager} had allegedly killed a person, recognized as Sangram Lekawale, in Ambegaon Pathar space in April. After this a case was registered towards him at Bharti Vidyapeeth police station.

The FIR lodged by Bansode states that Parvati Patha was known as on Sunday night on the pretext of giving her and the deceased an outdated cellular phone. Around 8 pm, a gaggle of six assailants approached the duo and brutally attacked the juvenile with sharp sickles on his head, again and fingers.

Krishna Indalkar, senior inspector of Dattawadi police station stated, “When {the teenager} was attacked, there have been folks round. But the attackers threatened to hurt them too. When Bansode tried to cease, in addition they attacked him with sharp weapons.

The lady was taken to the hospital however later she died. Bansode additionally suffered a number of accidents. Indalkar stated, “Immediately after the homicide, we began investigation. We have arrested all of the six attackers.”
