King Charles Glasgow will launch the Kings Baton Relay at Buckingham Palace, past the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Swine mentioned that the sport was “a huge opportunity for Scotland on the world stage”.

He mentioned: “Glasgow already has a tremendous record for hosting, with international recognition for the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

“Glasgow 2026 will convey enormous financial advantages within the metropolis and assist upgradation for sports activities services – benefiting people, communities and golf equipment.”

The event will be held in Glasgow from 23 July to 2 August.

It could have a 10-sport program with athletes in 74 international locations and areas.
