An individual was suspected of being a part of an organized crime group, who smuggled folks in Britain in small boats.
The National Crime Agency (NCA) officers stated that that they had first detained 22 -year -old Irani on suspicion of conspiring to facilitate unlawful immigration at a deal with in Acox Green in Birmingham.
The arrest adopted the BBC investigation into the actions of individuals smuggling folks working in Northern France and West Midlands.
NCA officers stated that the person is now in custody and because of questioning.
“People work for the advantage of smugglers [and] Without concern for the protection of these folks, they transport, “said Jack Beer, head of the regional major investigation of the force.
“Our investigation continues with the proof we’ve got collected right this moment.”
The NCA stated that at present it was a 91 ongoing investigation into community or people on the prime stage of organized immigration crime or human trafficking.
