Tennis Hall of Famer Chris Evert says he has ovarian most cancers

Former tennis star Chris Evert says he was identified with early stage ovarian most cancers.

Evert, 67, revealed the sickness in a narrative posted on ESPN.com on Friday; He is an on-air announcer for ESPN.

She was identified with most cancers final month and began chemotherapy remedy this week.

“I’ve lived a very fascinating life. Now I have a few challenges ahead of me,” Evert stated.

“But I take comfort in knowing that chemotherapy is there to make sure the cancer doesn’t come back.” Evert gained 18 Grand Slam singles titles, reached No. 1 within the WTA rankings, and was inducted into the International Hall of Fame in 1995.

Her sister, Jean Evert Dubin, died of ovarian most cancers in February 2020 on the age of 62.

“Be your own advocate. Know your family history. Have a full awareness of your body, follow your gut and be aware of the changes,” Evert stated within the ESPN story.

“Don’t try to be a warrior and think it will pass.”
