One of America's most wished fugitives, who was captured in rural Wales after 21 years on the run, has had his UK financial institution accounts frozen by a courtroom.
Daniel Andreas San Diego, 46, appeared earlier than Llandudno Magistrates Court on Monday over a video hyperlink from HMP Belmarsh in London.
Police sought an account freezing order for 12 months for the cash held within the accounts pending additional enquiries.
A police monetary investigator stated the three accounts, with balances totaling greater than £20,000, have been within the title of Danny Webb, now recognized as Mr San Diego.
District Judge Gwyn Jones granted the police utility for an account freezing order.
Mr. San Diego stays in custody and awaiting extradition to the United States.
He was arrested in November by the National Crime Agency and North Wales Police at a home in Maneen, close to Lannerwest, Conwy, the place he was believed to have been residing below a false id for a number of years.
Mr. San Diego was wished by the FBI for the 2003 bombings of two workplace buildings in San Francisco.
The FBI described him as an “animal rights extremist”.
