If England head coach Simon Middleton can relate to something, it is laborious work.

He took things into his own hands and sent pamphlets offering coaching services to colleges and universities.
This eventually led to a job as director of rugby at a school and, after being involved with England shortly before the 2010 World Cup campaign, he joined the National XVs as an assistant coach in 2014 before taking over in 2015. Happened.
Reflecting on his journey, Middleton says: “Loads in my life I have never deliberate proper.
