The helmet that saved an Iraqi soldier’s life

It’s been 20 years because the invasion of Iraq started.

The third technology of his household to serve with the Black Watch, Kevin Stacey was one in all hundreds of British troops deployed to Iraq in 2003.

Despite being critically injured by an IED within the metropolis of Basra in 2004, he ended up serving three excursions of the nation.

Since leaving the navy, Kevin has pursued his ardour for biking within the Scottish Highlands, which has helped him draw on his experiences.
