Shafali Verma-led India Under-19 crew lifted the inaugural ICC Under-19 World Cup with an emphatic seven-wicket win over England.
India first bowled out England for 68 in 17.1 overs and chased down the goal in 14 overs to elevate the trophy.
India’s bowling assault, led by quick bowler Tita Sadhu and supported by leg-spinner Parshvi Chopra, registered a complete win with figures of 4-0-6-2, 4-0-13-2 respectively.
