A 35-year-old unemployed man allegedly killed his father, an worker of Central Coal Fields Limited (CCL), in Jharkhand’s Ramgarh to get a job within the PSU (Public sector undertakings) on compassionate floor, police stated on Sunday.
Krishna Ram (55), head safety guard posted in Central Workshop of CCL at Barkakana in Ramgarh district was discovered lifeless with throat slit early on Thursday, police stated.
Prakash Chandra Mahto, Sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), instructed a press convention on Saturday that the 35-year-old elder son of Ram had killed him at his quarter in Barkakana on Wednesday night time by slitting his throat.
Police have recovered a small hummer knife used within the crime and cell phone of the person who was killed, he stated.
Police claimed that elder son of Ram confessed throughout interrogation that he killed his father to get a CCL job on compassionate floor.
As per provisions of CCL, authorized dependent of an worker could be given a job if the worker die throughout his service tenure, police stated.
