A fugitive who posted pretend social media updates to evade seize has been arrested.
Dean Noble, 33, from Barnsley, was detained in Skegness on Saturday after failing to current himself to start his sentence for violently attacking three males.
Noble was convicted of attacking three folks in July and was initially given a suspended jail sentence, however, following an attraction, his conviction was quashed and he was sentenced to 9 years in jail.
South Yorkshire Police stated Noble had tried to make use of social media to look like in different components of the UK to keep away from arrest.
Det Sergeant Rebecca Robinson warned that anybody hiding Noble throughout his theft could be recognized and investigated.
She stated: “Since Noble failed to turn himself in, we have continued to pursue every line of investigation and have monitored Noble’s movements to ensure he is held to account for his behaviour.
“He is a violent man who has already accepted full responsibility for his brutal crimes and will now face the consequences of those actions.
“During our investigation to locate Noble, we issued shelter notices to individuals we suspected of assisting him in his escape.
“Harboring a wanted individual is a criminal offense, and I want to be clear that our investigation will continue and those suspected of assisting Noble will be identified.”
