Yorkshire farmer rescues sheep from snowdrift

This is the second a sheep got here out safely after getting trapped in a snowdrift.

However, Frank Carr, a farmer within the Yorkshire Dales, warned that not all of his herds could be so fortunate.

Hit by 40 cm (15 in) of snow, he stated the snow, sub-zero temperatures and wind meant he was ready for demise.

He stated: “It's the wind that makes the drift so bad. I don't think we would have lost much, but there will certainly be deaths.”
