17 staff killed in manufacturing facility hearth: Trade unions demand thorough investigation

Labor unions in Pune have demanded an intensive probe into the fireplace incident at a chemical manufacturing facility in Pune on Monday, by which 18 staff have been killed. The convention was organized by the Joint Action Committee of commerce unions and was attended by leaders like Kailash Kadam, Ajit Abhyankar, Dilip Pawar, Kishore Dhokale, Anil Roham Kiran Moghe. Addressing the media, he blamed the dearth of correct security audit, which led to the fireplace incident.
