India on Monday reported 18,346 new Covid-19 instances, the bottom in 209 days. This is the eleventh consecutive day that the day by day instances of coronavirus within the nation remained under 30,000. Kerala reported 8,850 new instances and 149 deaths.
The demise toll rose to 4.49 lakh with 263 recent deaths. The lively caseload is 2.52 lakh and the restoration price is 97.93 per cent.
India’s COVID-19 tally had crossed 20 lakh on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on August 23, 40 lakh on September 5 and 50 lakh on September 16. It had crossed 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October. 80 lakh on 29 October, 90 lakh on 20 November and crossed the one crore mark on 19 December.
India crossed the grim milestone of 20 million on 4 May and 30 million on 23 June.
