3 arrested in kidnapping case of newly elected rural physique member in Bulandshahr

BDC member Mohit Singh had gone to the market of village Bahapur to get some objects on May 28, when he was kidnapped.

Police stated they’re probing outdated enmity or dispute, if any, throughout panchayat elections as attainable causes for the kidnapping. The two ladies arrested within the case have been recognized as Mukesh Chaudhary (54), mom of major accused Saurabh Singh, and spouse Gudiya (27). The third is Saurabh’s aide Satish (42).

Saurabh, who is alleged to be absconding, had contested the election for the submit of Bahapur village head and was unsuccessful. Police stated they had been instructed that Mohit had requested the locals to not vote for Saurabh.

Bulandshahr Additional Superintendent of Police Surendra Nath Tiwari stated, “Saurabh and Mohit had an old dispute and both are wanted in criminal cases.”

Police is raiding searching for Mohit. Police stated these arrested had been named in reference to the FIR registered within the case.

According to Mohit’s father Rajendra Singh, the newly elected BDC member was on his bike to the market when Saurabh sat in a automotive together with his companions. His father stated that after a heated argument, Saurabh and his accomplices began attacking Mohit, as his son was semi-conscious, the accused took him in his automotive.

The father additional alleged that Saurabh had warned Mohit in opposition to contesting the election, including that ever since his son gained the BDC election, he had an enmity with Mohit.

SHO of Bhawan Bahadurpur Nagar police station Rajesh Kumar stated, all of the seven folks registered within the case are native residents. “We have not found any evidence so far to show that the kidnapping was a result of their dispute during the panchayat elections. The investigation is on,” Kumar stated.
