Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted the “air warriors and their families” of the nation on the event of the 89th anniversary of the Indian Air Force (IAF).

PM Modi tweeted and stated, ‘Indian Air Force is synonymous with braveness, arduous work and professionalism. He has distinguished himself by means of his human spirit and defending the nation in instances of challenges. He additionally connected a sequence of pictures of the Indian Air Force over time.

President Ram Nath Kovind congratulated the IAF for its “repeated competence and capability during peace and war”.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh shared a video on Twitter and congratulated the Indian Air Force, describing it as an “unstoppable force”.

“We are proud of our airmen for responding to various challenges with utmost urgency and flexibility and for having stood firm in the service of the nation,” he stated.
