Actor Aamir Khan on Saturday met Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and mentioned making the Union Territory a well-liked filming vacation spot. Aamir met the Lieutenant Governor on the Raj Bhavan, who took to Twitter.

“Meeted famous film actors Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao today. We discussed the new film policy of Jammu and Kashmir, which will be released soon. The discussion also focused on reviving the pride of J&K in Bollywood and making it a favorite film shooting destination,” tweeted Sinha.

Recently, Aamir visited Amar Singh College on Thursday, more than likely for a Reiki shoot for his upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha.

He accomplished the Ladakh portion of the shoot and has now moved to Srinagar to shoot necessary sequences of the movie. “The people here are very good at heart. We had a great experience working here. Kargil’s infrastructure is quite advanced, and we had no problem accommodating our huge crew here. It used to take me an hour to reach the shoot location. I enjoyed the scenery during our drive, with tea (Naga Chaitanya Akkineni),” Aamir informed the reporter in Ladakh. Kiran Rao, who’s taking care of the manufacturing of Laal Singh Chaddha, admitted that she had a good time capturing the movie in Ladakh.

While they have been there, Amir and Kiran met the Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar, Mohammad Ejaz Asad and had tea. His son Azad additionally joined.

Last month, Aamir and Kiran had stunned followers by saying their amicable separation in an announcement. The couple additionally introduced that they are going to be co-parenting their son and can do their job with utmost professionalism.
