It can be attention-grabbing so that you can know that Abhishek Bachchan did not know that he was able to play Shashwat Chatterjee’s iconic character Bob Biswas from the story when he stated sure to the ZEE5 movie Bob Biswas. The thriller, a spin-off of the cold-hearted contract killer, is gearing up for a digital launch on ZEE5. In a latest interview, Abhishek stated that he hopes ‘OG Bob Biswas’ will watch and luxuriate in his efficiency within the ZEE5 movie.
The actor shared that he hadn’t even seen the story when Sujoy Ghosh met him in early 2019 to debate the movie. “He stated I’ve written a script which I would like you to listen to. It is the story of a contract killer who has misplaced his reminiscence and the way his previous turns into intertwined with him. I stated certain it feels like a good suggestion. I requested him if he can be making it. He stated that I’ll produce it and my daughter Diya will direct it. On an emotional word, I instantly stated sure I wish to do it. I’ll take heed to the script however I’m accomplished,” he instructed NDTV.
When he received the script, he got here to know that it was Bob Biswas. However, since he had not but seen the story, he was not conscious of the character. Abhishek additional added, “At that time, he also told me that he had spoken to me about the original Bob Biswas, but at that time the film was not the story and I was busy with Bol Bachchan. Once we did 80% of the film. After completing the part, we went into a lockdown, when I saw the story.”
Praising Shashwat Chatterjee, Abhishek Bachchan known as him ‘good’ and stated, “After so many years we are talking about his eight minute part which is a testament to his amazing talent. I hope he is my bob. Will see you and enjoy my explanation.”
After watching each Kahaani and Bob Biswas, the actor is certain that his movie is best. In an earlier dialog with indianexpress.com, he shared, “I feel our movie is best. With all due respect to Sujoy, his daughter (Diya) is best than him.” Abhishek also described Bob Biswas as a “crime thriller”, which has turned out to be a “cool” movie.
