According to TOI, the actor breathed his final at Holy Family Hospital in Mumbai.
Mushtaq Merchant, recognized for showing in Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra starrer Sholay, was additionally seen in movies like Sita Aur Geeta, Jawaani Deewani, Sagar, Fifty Fifty.
In a profession spanning over twenty years, Mushtaq acted in over 80 movies.
