Admiral Hari Kumar takes over as new Navy Chief

Admiral R Hari Kumar on Tuesday took over as the brand new Chief of the Indian Navy after Admiral Karambir Singh retired from service.

Admiral Kumar served because the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Naval Command earlier than taking up the reins of the pressure.

Born on 12 April 1962, Admiral Kumar was commissioned into the Executive Branch of the Indian Navy on 1 January 1983.
