Andhra Pradesh: Fierce hearth at HPCL plant in Visakhapatnam

An enormous hearth broke out on the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) plant in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday afternoon, however there have been no instant casualties.

According to sources, the hearth broke out within the crude distillation unit at HPCL’s outdated terminal.

An emergency siren was instantly performed, after which workers and workers exited the unit.

“There was a deafening sound like an explosion and a fireball. The siren was played and we all came out safely, ”some employees stated popping out of the plant.

Fire engines have been known as out and in of the plant to regulate the hearth and the operation was on.
