Annaatthe is written and directed by Shiva. Directed by Kalanidhi Maran below the banner of Sun Pictures, the movie stars Rajinikanth, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Jagapathi Babu, Abhimanyu Singh, Prakash Raj, Suri, Meena, Khushboo, Bala, Kulappally Leela and Vela Ramamurthy.
