Chief Minister Small Industries Promotion Scheme in Rajasthan Budget 2022-23

In Rajasthan Budget 2022-23 speech, CM Ashok Gehlot stated “Mukhyamantri Laghu Udyog Protsahan Yojana brought by us is a unique scheme of its kind in the entire country with a view to increase investment in MSME sector. Small businessmen who are interested in setting up industries, new enthusiasm has been infused with this scheme. But the problem of pending cases under this scheme has been brought to my notice.

To solve this, before the amendment issued on August 27, 2021, it is proposed to give the benefit of the scheme by giving one-time exemption to the cases accepted from banks and reported in the district industry centers. Due to this, about 1000 units of the state, who had got the loan but were not able to fulfill the eligibility due to the amended provisions, they will now be able to get the benefit of the scheme.

With a view to giving maximum incentive to small investors taking loans up to 10 lakhs, other provisions of the scheme such as keeping the ratio between term loan and working capital and submission of application within 90 days after disbursement of loan from financial institution, etc. By eliminating it, MSME will be promoted. In this way, a provision of Rs 150 crore is proposed for interest subvention in the coming year to give a big shape to the Chief Minister’s Small Industries Promotion Scheme.

Rajasthan MLUPY scheme aims to provide subsidized loans through banks to facilitate the establishment of enterprises in the state and to provide new employment opportunities to all sections of the society.

MLUPY Loans through Financial Institutions

Under the Mukhyamantri Laghu Udyog Protsahan Yojana, loans will be provided through financial institutions like:-

Applicants of Mukhyamantri Laghu Udhyog Protsahan Yojana

Under the Mukhyamantri Laghu Udyog Protsahan Yojana, individual applicants as well as institutional applicants (self-help groups / societies / partnership firms / LLP firms / companies) will also be eligible. Loan Amount under CM Laghu Udyog Protsahan Yojana

Under the CM Laghu Udyog Protsahan Yojana, loan up to Rs. 10 crore will be available. The maximum limit of loan for business will be Rs. 1 crore. The nature of the loan will be composite loan, term loan and working capital (including CC Limit). As per RBI guidelines, collateral security will not be needed on loans upto Rs. 10 lakh.

10. There is no need to appear in person after filling the application unless you are called by some intimation. 10 lakhs Rs. Loan applications less than Rs.50 crore will be automatically examined at the office level and decided.
11. Even after the loan is released, you will have to update on the Pragati website or app for follow up.
12. SMS will be sent to you at different stages after application. So, if there is a change in the mobile number, update it.
13. Share your success on the portal of Industries Department and on social media in such a way that banks and other industries see it as your achievement and also connect you with other support. This will also help you to grow your market and become a source of inspiration for people.
14. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t get a loan for the venture. Make the project of the enterprise afresh in a better form. Well, debt is not everything for an enterprise. You can start a venture by engaging other like-minded people and taking their cooperation. Loan is easily sanctioned even by the bank when the enterprise is running at one level.
15. Report any unreasonable demand or other complaint at any stage in the process of application to the 181 portal or helpline.

Loan applications up to Rs. 10 lakh can be forwarded directly to the banks without any interview and the loans above Rs. 10 lakh will be forwarded to the bank after being scrutinized by the District Level Task Force Committee.
