Sharing an image from his gymming session, Arjun wrote, “One year anniversary! What are you thinking of? Koi Khushi Wali Anniversary Hai Yeh, it’s been a year since I tested positive for Covid-19… and it pushed my fitness level back by months. I had just started getting into routine with Drew on Zoom sessions in lockdown and boom, I got covid. For someone like me – the struggle is constant, every day counts, every training session counts. I remember being disappointed, distraught. I was just on the road to a change – emotionally, mentally, I was there to do it… It took me a few days to recover from the fact that after taking all precautions, this happened to me. But I told myself, I will try doubly hard not to let this derail me. My mind and body were at their peak of pure food and rest during my recovery. I thank Akshay Arora for doing a great job at making super healthy and yet enjoyable meals that made me bounce back. I resumed the virtual training session with my trainer Drew Neal soon after testing negative and it boosted my morale. The slow and steady road to recovery continued for a few months. It gave me a lot and it took me a few months to realize that I was on the right track to get fit again. Even when I started shooting for Bhoot Police, I was still finding my feet again with the rhythm of work and my fitness routine. A year later, I’m still progressing… but I’m proud of the journey, where I am today and looking forward to the last 12 months with my renewed vigor. #makeeverydaycount #workinprogress.”

Arjun was recognized with coronavirus on September 6 final yr and was in house quarantine. A month later, he returned to the units with Sardar Ka Grandson. “Today, back on the set, I feel like a kid in a candy store. I missed interacting with creative minds, missed out on learning and got better at my craft. So, I am really excited to be back,” he wrote on Instagram on the time.
