Arunachal Pradesh Governor BD Mishra has been given extra cost of Meghalaya because the tenure of current Satya Pal Malik ends on October 3, Rashtrapati Bhavan stated on Saturday.
“The President of India is happy to nominate Brigadier. (Dr.) BD Mishra (Retd.), Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, to discharge the capabilities of the Governor of Meghalaya, from the date on which he assumes the workplace of the Governor of Meghalaya. Apart from his personal duties, till common preparations are made, Press Secretary to the President Ajay Kumar Singh stated in a launch.
Satya Pal Malik (76) is finishing his time period on Monday, the press launch stated.
