On September 10, the Arunachal Pradesh Police registered an FIR towards Akhilesh Yadav, a trainer at Jeju Institute, a training heart in Itanagar, and unknown officers of the Public Service Commission, within the alleged leakage of query papers for the recruitment of assistant engineers. (civil).
The FIR was re-registered as per the process laid down by the CBI.
After registering the FIR, the state police had arrested APPSC Deputy Secretary Taket Jerang on the allegation that he had earned crores of rupees by leaking not solely the examination for Assistant Engineer but additionally the sooner papers. “Jerang’s role is under investigation and the agency will seek permission of the court to interrogate him in the jail where he is in judicial custody,” the official mentioned.
