Bollywood veteran Asha Parekh not too long ago honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for her contribution to Indian cinema. The actor featured in 95 movies in a profession spanning over 5 many years. In a latest interview, the actor recalled working with Dev Anand in Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai and Manoj Kumar in Do Badan.
Parekh, 80, mentioned in a brand new interview with Connect FM Canada that he remembers Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai because it was his first go to to Darjeeling. The heroes were Dev Anand and the people were crazy about Dev Anand. There were no flowers because people were going crazy about Dev Anand. I felt very sad.”
The actor additionally reminisced about sharing the display with actor Manoj Kumar within the 1966 romantic drama Do Badan. She revealed how she solely wished her character to die within the climax of the Raj Khosla movie, however her concept ‘upset’ her co-actor Kumar.
Parekh He mentioned, “Those who have seen Do Badan realize that in the end Manoj Kumar dies suddenly. We had to shoot him again because I said I will die, how can he die? So, Mr. Manoj Kumar was very upset. He said, ‘Take a bet with me, I will give it a shot again’. So, we had to shoot it again and he died. So, we both died in the film. “

During the free-wheeling chat, the veteran star revealed a number of anecdotes from his illustrious movie profession.
