Atletico Madrid has prolonged the contracts of coach Diego Simeone and his employees till the top of the 2024 season, the membership stated on Thursday.
Atlético expanded after profitable their first Spanish league title since 2014. The contract was set to run out the next June.
“Pride. Responsibility. Challenges. Joy,” Simone stated on Twitter. “Happy to continue at Atlético de Madrid.”

Simeone took over at Atlético in December 2011 and is the coach answerable for a Spanish league membership for consecutive seasons.
The Argentine is Atletico’s most profitable coach with eight titles and 316 victories.
Simeone performed as a defensive midfielder with Atletico within the Nineties and 2000s.
