The Surat Fast Track Special Court on Friday acquitted a 43-year-old auto driver of the cost of raping a 50-year-old lady.
According to the prosecution, the lady was allegedly raped twice by the accused in Surat in 2016.
In her police criticism filed on April 2, 2017, the 50-year-old lady had mentioned that she had lent Rs 2 lakh to an accused residing in the identical village to purchase an auto rickshaw.
