Babar Azam’s mom was on a ventilator when the Pakistan captain led his staff to a powerful victory over arch-rivals India of their T20 World Cup match in Dubai final Sunday.
This was disclosed by the captain’s father Azam Siddiqui on Saturday.
The right-handed batsman scored an unbeaten 68 in opposition to India on the massive day at the same time as his mom was placed on a ventilator after a surgical procedure.
Babar’s father has posted a message on his Instagram account saying that the Pakistan captain performed all three World Cup video games “in serious trouble”.
“It is time for my country to know some truth. Congratulations to all of you for winning all three matches. We had a big test at home. Babar’s mother was on ventilator the day the match was against India,” wrote Azam Siddiqui on Instagram.
“Babur played all three matches in serious trouble. I don’t want to come here. Had to happen, but I came so that Babur would not become weak. It is God’s grace that he is fine now,” he added together with a household image.
Pakistan are on the verge of qualifying for the semi-finals of the T20 event by successful all their matches to date, together with a 10-wicket loss to India of their opening match.
“The purpose of sharing is not to criticize our national heroes without any reason. And yes, I know, if I don’t find paradise. If you get a position, you have to take the exam also. May Pakistan stay alive,” Siddiqui mentioned.
