Badminton Rating: PV Sindhu out of world high 10

After failing to defend her ladies’s singles title on the Swiss Open final week, two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu dropped out of the world’s high 10 within the newest BWF rankings launched on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old from Hyderabad, who has struggled this season since coming back from a protracted damage lay-off, has slipped two locations to eleventh place with 60,448 factors.

Sindhu, a former world champion, who has a career-best rating of world No. 2, has been within the high 10 since November, 2016. He made it to the Elite Top 10 for the primary time in August 2013.
